A robbery took place on August 22nd, 2025, at a business located at 1000 W Summit Parkway, where an employee was threatened by a suspect claiming to have a firearm. The employee promptly contacted 911 after the suspect fled the scene. Spokane police officers responded swiftly, locating a possible suspect, Jerry G. Allen Jr. , at Cedar and Broadway within eight minutes.

After detaining him without incident, officers recovered the stolen items and interviewed witnesses to gather more information. Allen, 38, was arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail on charges of 1st Degree Robbery and 3rd Degree Theft.
