Construction on Rockwood Boulevard begins Tuesday, September 2, impacting traffic and parking near Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. The project entails a grind and overlay of the pavement and redesigning the intersection of Rockwood Blvd. with Cowley St. and 10th Ave. Utility work will also be conducted, including replacing outdated water main pipes and repairing sections of the sewer system.

Traffic will be condensed on Rockwood Blvd. , while Sumner Ave. and 10th Ave. will close to east/west traffic. Access to the healthcare employee parking garage will remain open on 9th Ave.
