The employee promptly alerted 911 after the suspect fled the premises. Officers swiftly responded, using the description provided by witnesses to locate a suspect, Jerry G. Allen Jr. , at Cedar and Broadway within eight minutes.

Allen was detained without incident, and the investigation led to his arrest on charges of 1st Degree Robbery and 3rd Degree Theft.
