The suspect threatened the employee by claiming he had a firearm, though no weapon was visible during the altercation. After the suspect fled, the employee promptly contacted 911, leading to a swift police response. Officers located Jerry G. Allen Jr.

at Cedar and Broadway just eight minutes after the call, detaining him without incident. The stolen items were recovered, and Allen was booked into Spokane County Jail for 1st Degree Robbery and 3rd Degree Theft. This incident underscores the vulnerability of local businesses to theft and the importance of quick police action.
