A robbery took place on August 22, 2025, at a business located at 1000 W Summit Parkway in Spokane. An employee confronted the suspect, who threatened him with a firearm, although no weapon was visible. After the employee reported the incident to 911, police officers flooded the area, utilizing a description from the initial caller. Officers located and detained 38-year-old Jerry G. Allen Jr.

at Cedar and Broadway just eight minutes later. Following witness interviews, the stolen items were recovered, and Allen was arrested for 1st Degree Robbery and 3rd Degree Theft. This incident underscores the police department's effective response to crime in the community. Spokane residents can rely on emergency services for immediate assistance during such threatening situations.
