Officers responded rapidly, locating a suspect at Cedar and Broadway just eight minutes after the initial report. Jerry G. Allen Jr.

(38) was detained without incident and later charged with 1st Degree Robbery and 3rd Degree Theft. The police recovered the stolen items during the investigation, underscoring their effective response to crime in the community.
