Flags Lowered for Spokane County Sergeant Kenneth Salas

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Sergeant Salas, who was killed while serving our community," Mayor Brown stated. The flags will remain at half-staff through Wednesday, and residents with flags are encouraged to join in this gesture of remembrance. A memorial service will be held at the Spokane Convention Center on August 20 at 1 p. m.
