Spokane police arrested Troy A. Silk, 45, for three counts of 2nd Degree Arson following a series of intentionally set fires in downtown Spokane early on August 21, 2025. The Major Crimes Unit obtained video footage from local businesses that identified Silk as a suspect. At the time of his arrest, he was already in custody at Spokane County Jail for unrelated crimes.
