Spokane Police Department will close several roads on August 20 for the memorial service of Sergeant Ken Salas, affecting local traffic. Washington Avenue will also close from Boone to Spokane Falls Boulevard, redirecting traffic west towards Monroe. Other road closures include Washington and North River Drive for several hours, and northbound traffic on Washington and Spokane Falls Boulevard until approximately 3 p. m.

Division and Riverside will close to northbound traffic until about 12:30 p. m. , while Assembly will be closed between Wellesley and Francis from 9:30 to 11:30 a. m. Emergency services are available by calling 911, and residents can report non-emergency issues through dedicated hotlines.
