W. Maxwell Ave. will close from August 25 to September 19 as part of traffic signal upgrades for the Maxwell Pettet to Walnut Bike/Pedestrian project. Motorists should expect detours, particularly eastbound on Pettet Dr.

and westbound on W. Maxwell Ave. , with reduced lanes on Ash St. Local access will be maintained during non-working hours. The project is funded by the Washington State Pedestrian/Bike Program and the Washington Climate Commitment Act.
