The Spokane Police Department has announced road closures for August 20 in anticipation of Sergeant Ken Salas' memorial service. Southbound Division at Sharp will close, redirecting traffic to Monroe or Hamilton. Washington will be closed from Boone to Spokane Falls Boulevard, with restrictions lasting until about 3 p. m. Washington and North River Drive will also close for several hours, impacting local traffic.

Assembly between Wellesley and Francis will be closed from 9:30 to 11:30 a. m. , and northbound traffic on Division and Riverside will be halted until roughly 12:30 p. m. Residents are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays.
