One killed, another injured in downtown Spokane stabbing

Spokane Police arrested Colin L. Pedro, 20, for multiple charges, including 2nd Degree Assault (DV) and 2nd Degree Murder, following a stabbing incident on August 7, 2025. Police responded to reports of a fight near the 800 block of West Spokane Falls Blvd, where one victim was found deceased after being transported to the hospital. The second victim, who was in a dating relationship with Pedro, suffered serious injuries but is expected to recover.
