Spokane Police arrested Colin L. Pedro, 20, on multiple charges, including 2nd Degree Murder, following a stabbing incident that left one individual dead and another injured. Officers responded to a fight report near Spokane Falls Blvd. where they discovered a deceased victim and another suffering substantial injuries. The surviving victim, who had been dating Pedro, is hospitalized but expected to recover.

Investigators are still clarifying the connection between Pedro and the homicide victim. Numerous emergency units, including SWAT and the Hostage Negotiation Team, were deployed to the scene to manage the situation. After nearly four hours, police safely detained Pedro without further incident. Authorities assured the community that there is no ongoing danger and are encouraging anyone with relevant information to reach out.
