Sponsored by Councilmembers Kitty Klitzke and Paul Dillon, the policy aims to reduce costs on street improvements while updating the city's transportation network. Mayor Brown stated, “Complete Streets are for everyone,” highlighting the initiative's focus on safety for various modes of transportation. Director of Transportation Jon Snyder emphasized the need for intentional design to serve all community members.

Klitzke praised the collaborative effort, noting that the updates would address broader mobility concerns.
