Construction Work on North Foothills Dr.

Spokane, WALocal News

The City of Spokane will initiate a resurfacing project on North Foothills Dr. , starting August 7, 2025, and concluding by August 20. This grind and overlay work will result in lane reductions for both eastbound and westbound traffic, leading to anticipated slowdowns in the area. N. Hamilton St.

may also experience delays during busy traffic periods, while the intersection with N. Perry St. will be intermittently impacted. Sidewalk detours will be in place for pedestrians navigating the work zone. In 2025, the City has successfully completed eight similar projects and aims to wrap up five more by mid-October.

The Street Department oversees more than 2,100 lane miles and 6,800 intersections within the city. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, allowing extra travel time and watching for detours. Supporting local businesses during this necessary work is encouraged.
