Projects will impact traffic starting July 21

Construction projects starting July 21 will disrupt traffic on South Freya St. and South Lincoln St. Crews will replace over 3,000 feet of water main along South Freya St. , closing it to motorists and aiming for project completion by late October. Detours will direct traffic along Hartson Ave.

, South Ray St. , and East 29th Ave. Concurrently, work on South Lincoln St. involves rehabilitating swale plantings, with flaggers managing vehicle flow. This work will occur intermittently on weekdays throughout the summer, causing potential traffic delays.

Pedestrian detours will be implemented when sidewalks are obstructed. Local access for residents will be maintained, ensuring they can reach their homes. Construction updates and obstruction information are available on the city's construction webpage.
