Spokane Police arrested Chad Horne, 37, on July 9, 2025, in the Liberty Lake area after he was wanted for 2nd Degree Arson linked to several intentionally set fires. The fires occurred on July 8, damaging four structures, including a fire at My Fresh Basket and an electrical vehicle charging station. Horne was last seen near a Wal-Mart in Spokane Valley before the police received tips leading to his capture. He was also wanted for an unrelated domestic violence charge.
