project will improve infrastructure between Pettet Dr. and Walnut St. , with completion expected in October. Both projects aim to improve connectivity and safety for cyclists and pedestrians. Motorists should anticipate detours and traffic delays, with residential access and business accessibility prioritized.

Local businesses are urged to be supported during the construction efforts. Funding for the Maxwell Ave. project comes from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act, highlighting the state's commitment to climate action.
