Spokane Police Department (SPD) managed a protest following the Pride Parade on June 14, 2025, focusing on safety and communication with organizers. The event started peacefully but became confrontational, leading officers to issue multiple dispersal orders as the crowd size dwindled. By 8:44 p. m. , SPD arrested 11 individuals for failure to disperse, with one facing additional charges for vandalism.

SPD clarified that no curfew was in effect and communicated with River Park Square Mall to direct patrons safely. Chief Kevin Hall emphasized the department's dedication to protecting demonstrators' rights while ensuring public safety. Despite the escalation, most participants complied with directives throughout the day. Spokane Pride organizers praised SPD for their collaboration in creating a safe environment for the event. The police will review their actions to align with their values of professionalism and respect for constitutional rights.
