Snoqualmie Utility Rate Adjustments Approved, Program for Reduced Rates Continues

Snoqualmie City Council approved utility rate increases to address inflation and support city-owned utilities, effective June 1, 2025. Average residential bills will rise by approximately 3% to 7% annually, while multifamily rates will increase by 1% to 2%, and commercial rates will see hikes of 4% to 12%. The council's final approved rates are 5% lower than those proposed earlier in 2025 after extensive analysis. The rate study, initiated in 2024, assessed necessary capital improvements and inflationary impacts on utility services. Snoqualmie Utilities provides essential water, sewer, and stormwater services to both city and non-city customers.
