A rollover crash involving a 2003 GMC Savana van injured three men on westbound I-90 near milepost 22, blocking the road for over four hours on May 26. The crash occurred at approximately 8:21 a. m. when the driver lost control, struck the left embankment, and rolled over, landing on its roof. One occupant, a 25-year-old man from Chicago, was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Overlake Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver is suspected of driving under the influence, with potential charges of DUI and vehicular assault pending, as drugs or alcohol were noted as contributing factors. Two other men received treatment at the scene, with seatbelt use confirmed for one and unknown for the other. The van, declared totaled, was towed by Ibsen Bellevue Towing. The incident highlights the ongoing issue of impaired driving and its consequences on road safety. Authorities are likely to reinforce DUI awareness campaigns in response to such incidents.
