State Route 18 will fully close under Interstate 90 from 9 p. m. on May 15 until 5 a. m. on May 21, impacting travel near Snoqualmie.

The Washington State Department of Transportation announced that this closure will facilitate work on a diverging diamond interchange. Travelers should expect significant delays and are encouraged to plan alternate routes. Eastbound SR 18 traffic must utilize the on-ramp to eastbound I-90, while westbound traffic will need to take the on-ramp to westbound I-90. No left turns will be permitted at the I-90 off-ramps during the closure. Freight traffic should avoid Issaquah city streets, as they are not suitable for large trucks.
