Mona Davis Named Snoqualmies New Community and Economic Development Director

Mona Davis will assume the role of Snoqualmie's Community and Economic Development Director on May 1, 2025, after receiving unanimous approval from the City Council. With a robust background in planning and land use spanning more than 25 years, Davis has notably served as the Community Development Director for Black Diamond. She and her husband have been residents of the Snoqualmie Valley for over 20 years, where they raised their two sons. Mayor Ross highlighted Davis's wealth of experience and her deep understanding of the local community, calling her a perfect fit for the role. Davis expressed her eagerness to engage with residents and businesses, emphasizing her commitment to public service.

The official oath of office was administered by Mayor Ross on April 30 during the Snoqualmie Volunteer Appreciation event. Davis's appointment is expected to enhance local economic development efforts in the region. Her extensive experience in both public and private sectors positions her well to address the community's development needs.
