Snoqualmie Valley Advisory Group Explores Future Indoor Public Pool Project

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

Si View Metropolitan Park District actively seeks to establish an indoor public pool, a pressing concern for local residents. The Snoqualmie Valley Aquatics Collaborative (SVAC) has convened since early 2024 to evaluate community aquatics needs and possible funding avenues. Formed by a unanimous decision from the Si View Board in November 2024, SVAC comprises elected officials and community organization representatives. Commissioner Susan Kelly highlights the multi-generational benefits of accessible pools, citing community calls for a larger facility. The group collaborates to review past proposals and develop a sustainable plan for the pool.

Current members represent diverse local entities, including the City of North Bend and the Snoqualmie Valley School District. Other organizations, such as the Snoqualmie Tribe, are invited to contribute to the planning process. Si View plans to share ongoing updates about the SVAC's progress.
