New Subdivision site clearing slated to begin November 3 in North Bend

The City of North Bend will begin clearing the Mori Estates subdivision on November 3, 2025, after issuing a Clearing and Grading Permit. Formerly called the Ichijo subdivision, it will feature 40 lots, multiple parks, and a protected forested area along the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River. Developers will construct sidewalks along the south property frontage on SE 140th Street and throughout the neighborhood. Access for large trucks will be from SE 140th Street, with limited traffic effects expected. Construction noise will occur during the city’s permitted hours: 7 a.

m. to 7 p. m. weekdays and 9 a. m.

to 5 p. m. on select Saturdays. Clearing is anticipated to conclude by the end of December, followed by grading that may extend through summer 2026, depending on weather conditions. Residents can contact Development Project Manager Brian Tucker or Kanon Kupferer for inquiries.
