Graffiti featuring racial slurs was discovered and promptly removed from Snoqualmie Community Park’s Kite Hill area by the Parks and Public Works Department. Local police responded to multiple incidents, including a report of counterfeit bills being used at a North Bend grocery store and a theft in progress involving juveniles at a Snoqualmie Safeway. Officers also investigated a suspicious vehicle at a North Bend business, which turned out to be a parent teaching a child to drive. A civil dispute was reported between a mother and her teenage son in Snoqualmie, and a resident reported the theft of a firearm. Additionally, a Snoqualmie resident’s debit card was fraudulently used for a nearly $6,000 purchase in Seattle, raising concerns about local crime.

The report noted that officers found trash at an unoccupied camp at Sandy Cove Park, prompting cleanup efforts. Community officials continue to address safety issues as they arise in the area. These incidents underscore the ongoing need for vigilance and response in Snoqualmie and North Bend.
