Snoqualmie, WALocal News

North Bend is gearing up for Beautification Day on April 22, a community initiative marking Earth Day, spearheaded by the North Bend Downtown Foundation and the City of North Bend. The day starts at 10:30 a. m. at the North Bend Train Depot, where Mayor Mary Miller will deliver an inspiring Earth Day proclamation to kick off the event. Participants will receive garbage pickup supplies, courtesy of the NBDF, to help clean various areas throughout the city.

Recology will be present to facilitate the cleanup efforts and provide insights on waste management. The organized cleanup will continue until noon, but residents are encouraged to contribute independently at their convenience. Whether it's cleaning up a neighborhood, park, or riverbank, every action counts toward keeping North Bend beautiful. This event not only fosters community involvement but also emphasizes the importance of environmental stewardship. For more information about the North Bend Downtown Foundation, visit their website.
