Free Special Recycling Event Returns to Snoqualmie Middle School on May 3

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

The City of North Bend and the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe are set to host their annual Special Recycling Event on May 3, 2025, from 9 a. m. to 3 p. m. at Snoqualmie Middle School.

This community-focused event, free for all King County residents, promotes responsible recycling and environmental stewardship. Participants can bring accepted items for proper recycling in the school’s parking lot, where volunteers will be on hand to assist. In addition to recycling, the event will feature free giveaways, though supplies are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. A clothing and household goods station will also return, allowing residents to donate items without charge. It's important to note that hazardous materials such as household paint and pesticides are not accepted; these can be disposed of at the Traveling Wastemobile, scheduled for July 11–13.

For further inquiries, residents can reach out to event coordinators via email or phone. This initiative not only addresses waste management but also fosters community engagement and environmental awareness.
