Snoqualmie, WALocal News

The Washington State Department of Transportation has announced overnight ramp closures at the I-90/SR 18 interchange near Snoqualmie from February 3-7, 2025, as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements. The closures include the SR 18/Snoqualmie Parkway on-ramp to westbound I-90 from 9 p. m. to 5 a. m.

nightly through February 5, with drivers directed to a signed detour. On February 5-7, the eastbound I-90 off-ramp to SR 18 will also be closed during the same hours, necessitating further detours for affected motorists. These closures are crucial for the installation of storm pipe drainage under the new ramps, which aligns with the broader I-90/SR 18 interchange enhancements. The project aims to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion in the area by widening SR 18 to two lanes in each direction. Commuters are encouraged to check the WSDOT mobile app for real-time travel updates and alternative routes.

With the recent cancellation of closures on February 5-6, travelers can expect improved access during this period. The timely dissemination of this information is vital for local residents and those traveling through the Snoqualmie area.
