North Bend Downtown Foundation Reveals New Mural on Iron Duck Public House
The North Bend Downtown Foundation has proudly announced the completion of a new mural on the Iron Duck Public House, designed to enrich the downtown area with vibrant artistry. This collaborative effort involved local property owner Craig Glazier, past NBDF Design Committee Chairperson Beth Burrows, committee members, and artist Sarah Hughes of A Pinch Different. Funded by a generous grant from the Snoqualmie Tribe, the mural symbolizes the community's dedication to local arts and cultural identity. A spokesperson for the Foundation remarked on the mural's role as a representation of community pride and collaboration, highlighting the artistic talent of Hughes. The mural also includes a dedication from the Snoqualmie Tribe, honoring the Indigenous peoples of the region and their connection to the land.
An unveiling event is set for this fall, inviting residents to celebrate the mural and its significance. The community is encouraged to visit and experience the vibrant energy of the new artwork.
