Local Valley Community Rallies for SOUP-ER HERO Canned Soup Drive

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

The Snoqualmie Valley community is coming together to support local families in need by launching the SOUP-ER HERO Drive, which aims to collect 2,000 pop-top soup cans by October 18th. This effort is organized by the SnoValley Chamber of Commerce and the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank, focusing on providing accessible food options for children, seniors with arthritis, and individuals without can openers. Residents can drop off their donations at several convenient locations throughout the valley, including ACE Hardware, Arbor Eyecare, and Umpqua Bank. Moreover, to encourage participation, every donor will be entered into a raffle to win a free night’s stay at the Snoqualmie Inn during the upcoming International Block Party. This initiative not only helps to alleviate food insecurity but also fosters a sense of community spirit among local residents.

The SOUP-ER HERO Drive exemplifies how small actions can lead to significant impacts for those in need. Community members are urged to take part and contribute to this vital cause. By donating, participants can make a difference and be recognized as heroes in their community.
