Alleged Fall City Burglary Attempt Leads to Charges for Kirkland Man and Juveniles

A burglary attempt at Fall City Firearms has led to charges for Kirkland resident Kristopher Holmes, 20, and four juveniles. Holmes is facing serious charges as an adult in King County Superior Court, including Attempting to Elude a Police Vehicle, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary in the Second Degree. His arraignment is scheduled for December 23, 2024, with bail set at $35,000. Authorities report that Holmes and the juveniles fled the scene in stolen vehicles, with one vehicle reaching speeds over 100 mph before crashing. Holmes, who has a prior robbery charge from 2023, was arrested after fleeing the crash site.

The four juveniles, aged between 12 and 17, face related charges through juvenile prosecution and are currently held in secure detention. The rapid response of law enforcement is credited with preventing further theft and potential damage to the business, underscoring ongoing crime issues in the region and the legal ramifications for those involved.
