The City of Snoqualmie has launched a Virtual Citizens Academy to enhance community engagement and educate residents about local government operations. This innovative program comprises 12 video modules accessible from home, making it convenient and informative. Each video features presentations from key city leaders, including the mayor and department directors, offering valuable insights into municipal functions. The course also includes facility tours and drone footage showcasing the city's parks and public spaces. Since its inception in 2020, the program has evolved to reflect changes in city leadership while maintaining its focus on essential governmental processes.

Participants who complete the program will earn the title of City of Snoqualmie Ambassador and receive a Certificate of Completion, symbolizing their commitment to understanding local governance. This initiative promotes transparency and encourages residents to actively engage in civic matters, equipping them to contribute positively to their community.
