** Overnight Closure of Westbound I-90 Off-Ramp to SR 18 for Restriping near Snoqualmie

Snoqualmie, WA** Local News

The westbound off-ramp from Interstate 90 to State Route 18 will be closed overnight on October 29 from 9 p. m. to 5 a. m. for restriping and the installation of temporary barriers.

This closure is part of the I-90/SR 18 Interchange Improvements project, which aims to enhance traffic flow and safety in the Snoqualmie area. A clearly marked detour will direct drivers to exit 22 at Preston/Fall City, allowing them to loop back to access the eastbound I-90 off-ramp to SR 18. Local drivers should add extra time to their travel plans during this closure. Upon reopening, motorists can expect changes in traffic patterns, although the number of lanes will remain unchanged. These changes are essential for creating a work zone for the construction of a new off-ramp as part of the diverging diamond interchange design, with project completion anticipated in early 2025.
