Seattle Comedy Competition Returns to the Valley!

The Seattle International Comedy Competition (SICC) is returning to the Snoqualmie Valley, with its first round set for November 9 at the North Bend Theatre. This popular event, now in its fifth year at this venue, brings together talented comedians from the US and Canada, promising an evening filled with laughter and entertainment. Theatre owner Beth Burrows expressed her enthusiasm for the event, emphasizing the unique stories and relentless pursuit of comedic victory among the performers. The competition will showcase a variety of acts, including a comic who transitioned from a career in pinball and a celebrity impressionist known for his captivating performances. Throughout November, a total of 32 comedians will take the stage at various locations in the Puget Sound area, competing for cash prizes totaling $15,000.

The grand finale will be held at Laugh’s Comedy Club in Seattle on December 1, where the top five comedians will vie for the coveted championship title. With tickets selling fast, attendees are encouraged to purchase their seats early to avoid disappointment. This event not only highlights the local comedy scene but also fosters community engagement through live performance art.
