The North Bend Theatre is set to host the second round of the Seattle International Comedy Competition on November 16, 2024, featuring sixteen up-and-coming comedians from the US and Canada. Theatre owner Beth Burrows enthusiastically remarks, "If laughter is the best medicine, then consider Round 2 your double dose! " This event promises an entertaining mix of talent, including a comic with a flair for dark humor, a creative video game designer, and a former TV quiz kid who now works as a rodeo doctor. This competition is notable as the largest touring comedy festival in the US, with thirty-two comedians competing for a total of $15,000 in cash prizes throughout November. The grand finale will occur on December 1 at Laugh's Comedy Club in Seattle, where the top five comedians will compete for the championship title.

The strong demand for tickets reflects a vibrant local interest in comedy and entertainment. As the community gathers for a night of laughter, this event not only showcases new talent but also highlights the cultural vitality of the Snoqualmie Valley, emphasizing the importance of comedic events in enriching local arts and entertainment.
