On September 19, 2024, at approximately 5:20 pm, the Snoqualmie Police Department arrested 28-year-old Joshua Lewis, a soccer coach for Cascade FC, after allegations surfaced regarding his communication with a minor for immoral purposes. The arrest took place at Jeanne Hansen Park, prompted by a report from the mother of a 15-year-old girl who claimed her daughter received inappropriate messages on Snapchat from Lewis. Following the report, police launched an immediate investigation, which resulted in Lewis's arrest based on the evidence gathered. He is currently being held at the King County Jail in Seattle without bail and is awaiting his first court appearance. The police have emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and are concerned there may be other victims who have not yet come forward.
