Local Valley Community Rallies for SOUP-ER HERO Canned Soup Drive

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

The Snoqualmie Valley has launched the SOUP-ER HERO Drive to collect canned soup for families in need, bringing the community together for a charitable cause. Hosted by the SnoValley Chamber of Commerce and the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank, the initiative aims to gather 2,000 pop-top soup cans by the deadline of October 18th. These cans are especially crucial for children and seniors, as they are easy to open without a can opener. Donations can be made at various locations across the valley, which include popular local businesses and community centers. To encourage participation, anyone who donates a can will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a free stay at the Snoqualmie Inn during the upcoming International Block Party.

This drive not only supports the food bank but also fosters a sense of community and goodwill among residents. The event demonstrates the power of collective action in addressing local food insecurity. Community members are encouraged to become SOUP-ER HEROES by contributing to this vital cause.
