Harvest & Holiday Markets Welcome Guests to Carnation Farms

Carnation Farms is excited to announce its upcoming Harvest Market on September 28 and Holiday Market on December 14, both set to take place in the historic Hippodrome from 9 a. m. to 4 p. m. These seasonal markets are designed to celebrate the changing of the seasons and bring the community together.

Families can enjoy a variety of activities, including delicious hot food and drinks provided by the Culinary Team, expert-led museum tours, and fun photo opportunities at a livestock-themed booth. Local artisan vendors will showcase a range of products, such as homemade soaps, clothing, art, sweets, and gifts, perfect for the upcoming holiday season. Executive Director Paul Shoemaker expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Events like these give us an opportunity to open up the Farm to our community. ” He emphasized the importance of connecting local artisans with community members in such a historic setting. The markets not only highlight regional craftsmanship but also promote the farm’s mission of fostering a thriving local food system.
