Harvest & Holiday Markets Welcome Guests to Carnation Farms

Carnation Farms is gearing up for its much-anticipated Seasonal Markets, with the Harvest Market scheduled for September 28 and the Holiday Market on December 14. Held in the historic Hippodrome, the markets will run from 9 a. m. to 4 p. m.

, inviting families to partake in a range of festive activities. Guests can savor hot food and drinks prepared by the Culinary Team, embark on expert-led tours of the farm's museum, and snap fun photos in a livestock-themed photo booth. Local artisans will be present, offering a diverse array of products, including seasonal decor, homemade soaps, clothing, art, sweets, and unique gifts. Executive Director Paul Shoemaker expressed his enthusiasm for the events, stating, "It's so special to bring local artisans and community members together in such a historic place. " These markets aim to strengthen community ties and celebrate local craftsmanship while promoting a sustainable food system.
