Snoqualmie and North Bend Reach Agreement to End Police Services Lawsuit
Snoqualmie and North Bend have successfully settled their legal dispute over police services through a new interlocal agreement. Both city councils approved the agreement unanimously, with Snoqualmie's vote on September 15, 2025, and North Bend's on September 16, 2025. Under the terms, Snoqualmie will continue providing police services to North Bend until March 31, 2026, when the King County Sheriff’s Office will take over. Mayor Katherine Ross expressed pride in the outcome, emphasizing fiscal responsibility for Snoqualmie taxpayers. North Bend Mayor Mary Miller noted the significance of ensuring safety and financial sustainability for residents.
