Taco Poker Run to benefit hit-and-run survivor Jon Bradshaw

Snohomish, WALocal News

The Taco Poker Run, taking place on July 12, is designed to assist Jon Bradshaw, a motorcyclist recovering from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run accident. In February, a distracted driver collided with Bradshaw's motorcycle, resulting in significant medical challenges, including multiple surgeries. Co-organizer John Fosdick highlighted the strong sense of community among motorcyclists, stating, “To many of us, anybody out there on two wheels is family. ” The event anticipates a minimum of 30 participants, with up to 200 riders expected, despite other competing events. Those who do not ride are encouraged to join later in the day for tacos, a 50/50 raffle, and a live auction.

A GoFundMe campaign has successfully raised more than $4,500 to support Bradshaw's ongoing medical expenses. The event is hosted by several local organizations, showcasing community solidarity. This initiative underscores the motorcycle community's commitment to supporting its members during difficult times.
