Celtic Cup Coffee held its grand opening in January, featuring live music and a coffee demonstration. Awdamet Market is set to provide Ethiopian takeaway, expanding local dining options. Additionally, Cafe K will open soon, offering a variety of bagels and lunch options in a former cafe space.

The Braiding Loft also opened in March, adding to the beauty service offerings in the area. These developments are part of a broader trend of enhancing downtown Silver Spring's appeal and attracting more residents and visitors. With the Guardian apartment building nearing completion, the area anticipates increased foot traffic and economic growth.
