Don Pollo at Ellsworth Place Still Open, Not for Lease

Silver Spring, MDLocal News

The owners of Ellsworth Place mall in downtown Silver Spring confirmed that Don Pollo Charbroiled Chicken is not for lease, countering claims made by a Bethesda blogger. Robert Dyer reported that the restaurant would be available starting November 1 based on a LoopNet listing, which has since been altered to remove references to Don Pollo. Spokesperson Jenn Buonanotte emphasized that the restaurant remains open and popular with customers, with no changes to its operations. Don Pollo specializes in Peruvian cuisine, featuring dishes like Lomo Saltado and Charbroiled Rotisserie Chicken, and has built a solid patronage since its 2020 opening. Bryan Ramos, who manages the listing for Retail22 CRE Advisors, did not comment on the situation, suggesting a lack of clarity regarding the initial report.

The restaurant is part of a local chain with multiple locations in Montgomery County. Don Pollo's founders, Carlos and Danny, have committed to providing authentic flavors while expanding their brand. Their dedication to quality service and cuisine continues to resonate with the local community.
