Silver Spring, MDLocal News

Metro has implemented significant service changes to the Red Line, with trains now running every four minutes during busy weekday rush hours. Weekend hours have been extended, opening at 6 a. m. and closing at 2 a. m.

on Fridays and Saturdays. The Silver Line will operate with half of its trains running between Ashburn and Downtown Largo, along with additional trains during peak hours.
