Four Eateries Soft Opening as Commas Welcomes Early Guests in Downtown Silver Spring

Silver Spring, MDLocal News

Four Commas eateries initiated a soft launch at Ellsworth Place in downtown Silver Spring, featuring TATO’s, J&J Mex-Taqueria, Momo Hub, and C³. The food hall plans to add more vendors in the coming weeks, pending final inspections, according to mall representative Jenn Buonanotte. Currently, only three of the twelve available spaces are unoccupied and labeled as “coming soon. ” The food hall occupies the former site of F21 Red, which closed in 2019 after a long tenure. Originally scheduled to open in late 2023, the launch has been delayed multiple times due to renovation and construction challenges.

Future openings will include MV Asian Kitchen, The Champs Kitchen, 6 Skewers, Claude Have Mercy, and Tokoa Cheesesteaks. The food hall aims to enhance the dining options in the area, attracting more visitors to downtown Silver Spring. Commas is located at 8661 Colesville Road and can be found online at hellocommas. com.
