Woman struck by hit-and-run motorcyclist in Seattle dies from injuries

A tragic hit-and-run incident in Seattle claimed the life of a 57-year-old woman and left a 59-year-old man injured. The collision occurred on April 18 at Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and South Alaska Street as the couple crossed in a marked crosswalk. Surveillance footage captured the motorcycle running a red light before striking the pedestrians and speeding away. The woman suffered severe head trauma and succumbed to her injuries later.

The Seattle Police Department confirmed they are searching for the driver of the red motorcycle, who has not yet been identified. This incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding pedestrian safety and traffic enforcement in Seattle. Authorities are urging witnesses to come forward with any information.
