Man injured after bullet grazes head in North Seattle shooting

A shooting incident in North Seattle's Bitter Lake Neighborhood resulted in a 32-year-old man being hospitalized with a grazing gunshot wound to the head early Saturday morning. After receiving reports of gunfire around 1 a. m. , police officers arrived on the scene and found multiple 9 mm shell casings in a parking lot located near the 400 block of North 105th Street. Despite their efforts, law enforcement did not locate any suspects or victims at the initial scene.

However, shortly thereafter, the injured man sought treatment at Northwest Hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition with minimal injuries. He stated that the bullet grazed him while driving in the area, highlighting the reckless nature of gun violence in urban settings. Detectives from the Gun Violence Reduction Unit are actively investigating the incident, processing evidence, and interviewing potential witnesses. Authorities are urging anyone with information to reach out to the SPD Violent Crimes Tip Line, allowing for anonymous tips. This incident underscores ongoing concerns about gun violence and public safety in Seattle, prompting community members to remain vigilant.
