Cal Anderson Park hosting this weekends Vegan Street Fair visit to Seattle

Seattle, WALocal News

Seattle's Vegan Street Fair will occur this Sunday at Cal Anderson Park, offering a diverse array of vegan cuisine from local and Portland vendors. The event is free to enter, and attendees can purchase small portions for $5 or less, promoting a sampling experience. This year's fair marks a venue change from Magnusson Park and is branded as the final Vegan Street Fair in Seattle, prompting community members to attend. Organizers encourage guests to bring picnic blankets to enhance their enjoyment of the event. Some featured vendors include Masa Empanadas from Portland, indicating a mix of regional culinary influences.

The Vegan Street Fair is part of the Good Vibes: Cal Anderson Park initiative, aimed at fostering community connections. Additionally, the Capitol Hill Garage Sale Day is scheduled for August 17, further promoting local engagement. Later this month, the park will also host the Kimchi Life Festival, continuing the trend of community gatherings focused on food.
