Father still at large 1 month after daughters' deaths

Seattle, WALocal News

Travis Decker, charged with three counts of aggravated first-degree murder in the deaths of his daughters, remains at large over a month after their bodies were found near Leavenworth. The girls, Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia, were reported missing by their mother, Whitney Decker, who had concerns about their father's mental health. Authorities recently pursued a tip in Idaho's Sawtooth National Forest, but it turned out to be a lookalike. Despite extensive searches across multiple wilderness areas, including the Pacific Crest Trail, Decker's location remains unknown. He had previously searched online for routes to Canada and may be living off the land.

The Chelan County Sheriff's Office has stated they do not know if he is alive or dead. A $20,000 reward is being offered by the U. S. Marshals Service for information leading to his arrest. Local lawmakers, including Rep.

Amy Walen, are calling for a review of the judicial system's role in the tragic case.
